Simulation of migration and demographic processes using FLAME GPU

This article presents an approach to modeling migration and demographic processes using a framework designed for large-scale agent-based – FLAME GPU. is based on the previously developed simulation model of interaction between two communities: migrants natives that implemented in AnyLogic software. The has had low dimensionality discrete space representing operating environment agent populations deterministic decision-making system each agent. At same time, presence multiple interactions agents transitions their states determines high computational complexity such model. use GPU makes it possible conduct extensive experiments with model, mainly due parallelization at level agent, as well implementation mechanism computations Monte Carlo techniques. used study impact most important parameters (e.g., rate migration, governmental expenditures integration, frequency creation new workplaces, etc.) key outputs modeled socio-economic (in particular, population size, share migrants, number assimilated GDP growth rate, etc.). proposed can be develop systems planning hiring employees forecast dynamics processes.
